Lavender Lemonade

Having the proper snacks can enhance any get together, whether it’s a birthday celebration, a barbecue, or just casually hosting friends. Wash down the grub with an icy glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade infused with lavender.

How to Make

1. For the simple syrup, combine sugar and two cups purified water in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and stir together until sugar is dissolved.

2. Remove from heat and stir in dried lavender and agave (or honey). Cover for about 15 minutes to allow mixture to steep. Strain lavender from the mixture.

3. In a large pitcher, combine lavender mixture, four cups purified water, and the two cups lemon juice. To turn the mixture light purple, add one drop blue food coloring and one red.

4. Chill for at least two hours. Garnish pitcher with a lemon wheel if desired.
