Nothing complements a picnic meal quite like a cool and refreshing pitcher of homemade lemonade.
1. Pour sugar and freshly squeezed lemon juice into a heat-proof jug and add the boiling water. Stir until sugar has dissolved.
2. Add the four cups of cold water to dilute it (or more to taste).
3. Slice up and add lemon and strawberry slices. Refrigerate until needed.
