Doc’s Wine & Food

$$ (Average entree $11-$15)
3509 S. Peoria Ave.
Tulsa (Brookside)

In the heart of Brookside, Doc's Wine & Food provides a comfortable atmosphere of community, where customers can expect creative food (mostly Creole and seafood), fine drink and first-class service. They put an importance on classic cocktails as well as seasonal drinks. Patrons can also enjoy a wine list that covers both New and Old World juice. On Wednesday nights, they serve up some of the best fried chicken in the 918 until they run out. Cajun lovers will rave over the shrimp e’toufee, chicken jambalaya and fried oyster po’ boy. If steak is more your thing, the 6-ounce filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes is a must. Brunch features salads, soups, a Hangover Burger (complete with a fried egg) and a couple of Doc’s “cures” including a sangria with seasonal fruit and champagne.
